AI Enablement and Legacy Systems

Bring AI into the way your organisation already operates.

Who it’s for

You are not looking to rebuild everything. You want AI integrated into the tools and processes you already depend on, including systems that are ageing, custom-built, or otherwise classed as legacy.

Where we help

  • AI-assisted customer support and front-line tooling
  • Automation of manual, repetitive internal workflows
  • Integration with existing systems including CRM, POS and internal databases, without a full rebuild
  • Staff-facing copilots that make existing software easier to operate

In practice the AI layer is a contained set of integrations that read from the systems you already have. No migration, no retraining your team on unfamiliar software, and nothing that cannot be switched off if priorities change.

Engagement

How a project runs, stage by stage.

Most AI projects fail on selection rather than on technology. We spend the early stages deciding what is genuinely worth automating before building anything.

  1. Assessment

We map how work actually flows through your organisation today, where time is lost, and which systems hold the data. This is observation, not a questionnaire.

  2. Use case selection

We rank candidate use cases by value against effort and risk, and recommend the two or three worth starting with. Some will come back as not worth automating, and we will say so.

  3. Readiness

We check whether the data and systems can support the use case: what is accessible, what is accurate, and what needs an interface built before AI can reach it.

  4. Pilot

A narrow working version against real data, measured against how the task is done today. If it does not beat the current process, we stop here rather than proceeding on principle.

  5. Integration

The proven pilot is connected to the systems that need it, with the guardrails, permissions and audit trail the workflow requires.

  6. Rollout and training

Staged introduction to the teams who will use it, with the training and documentation that determines whether it is adopted or quietly abandoned.

  7. Monitoring

Ongoing review of output quality, running cost per workflow, and whether the results still hold as your business changes.

Scope

What we can take on.

If your situation is not listed here, it is still worth asking. These are the areas we work in most often.

Where AI is applied

  • Agentic workflows that complete multi-step tasks end to end
  • Customer-facing assistants and chatbots
  • Staff copilots over internal knowledge and procedure
  • Content generation for marketing and operations
  • Document and record retrieval across your own files
  • Classification, extraction and data entry from documents

How it connects

  • Integration with CRM, POS and ERP systems
  • Read-only connectors to legacy databases
  • API layers built over systems that have no API
  • Scheduled and event-driven automation
  • Embedding into tools your team already opens daily

Kept under control

  • Evaluation against the current process before rollout
  • Guardrails and human review on consequential actions
  • Cost monitoring per workflow, so spend stays predictable
  • Access control and audit trails
  • A clear switch-off path if priorities change
